Adam enjoying some afternoon expresso. It was really hot when we were in Rome so it was nice to have a little apartment to come back to everyday.
Going to Rome was Adam's top place to visit and it didn't disappoint! Most recently living in Charleston, one of the oldest cities in America with lots of history. It was very interesting to visit sights in Rome and realize just how new America is compared to Europe. Checking out sights and learning about history all the way back to B.C. was amazing.
Enjoyed lots of walks along the Tiber River
We stayed pretty close to Castel Sant Angelo
Toured Vatican City and St. Peter's Basilica
I think past these guards is where the pope lives.
In front of Trevi Fountain
The Pantheon is on of the best-preserved ancient buildings in the world, at 2,000 years old. The only light comes from the center of the dome.
